I need to permenantly delete some folders from a portable driver, and i was told that if i “cut” them they will not be retrieved or recovered!!!!! so please i need to know if that is true…
And also I have tried to use file shredder on another thing, however it takes too long, specially when choosing “Shred free disk space” i need to know if there is a faster way, and how secure is it!!!!

P.S. Please be sure of your answer!!!!

“Cut” always adds a copy to the clipboard. You can prove it to yourself by “Cutting” and then right click somewhere…you’ll see that “paste” is an option. Click paste and there it is. So NO, cut does NOT permanently delete.
