How can i get back lost excel data?

Hello, I just put in 4 hours of work using some excel data. I converted text documents and imported them into the excel sheet. When trying to save it said that the .txt file may contain features not compatible with excel,i clicked yes. Apparently when i saved it everything deleted. Is there anyway to recover this data?
