How do i clone a mac hard drive?

My mac laptop g3 completley crashed, my sisters is still running, how can i clone her hard drive, burn it on a cd and use it on my laptop

If you have a G3 Mac you have to use OS 9.0 and using the Utility disk program setup the HD. Your computer when booted wil have a flashing Question Mark, until it sees the data from the OS disk. Once you have a HFS extended drive
it is then possible to reload the programs. If your HD is done
it may have to be changed. Only then can you network two
Apple computer together and reload one from the other.
I have done this before and Know this is the only way.
Your G3 has to have OS 9 firmware to make it go.
